Changes in Betty La Fea, Is It Good?

Anyone who follows Kapamilya's Betty La Fea can easily tell that the plot has drastically changed from the original. Was it a good move in lengthening the show?

I've watched the previous episode when it was just starting and I must say that from a non-supporter of shows like these, I liked it. It was a mixed of suspense and comedy from my shallow point of view. But later, it kinda changed to hardcore drama. I know its just me. How bout you? Do you like it?
